Today sees the start of Australia's Carers Week. Carers Australia describes it as "a national awareness week... established to promote and
raise awareness of the valuable role that carers play in our community
and to generate discussion about carer issues. Carers Week also
provides an opportunity for carers to come together, support one
another and share ideas and information."
So, to all those carers out there (paid or voluntary) a big thank you. While often unrecognised, your work represents an important fabric for our community.
